The Vallecillo’s

This year’s birthday party was small. We simply got together with the Cook’s and Slagter’s for a game of bowling at Strikz. We usually play arcade games after bowling, but it was too late for that this time.

Next year we’ll throw a real party there, like we have always done for past birthday parties.

Aidan won the bowling game that night, but nobody got a strike. I did get a “bonus” strike when my dad had to throw a bowling ball down our lane because it got stuck. He knocked down the two pins that were up and the computer counted it as a strike . At one point I saw a person in our lane trying to fix something in the machine that picks up the pins. Emma’s bowling ball kept getting stuck in the same place after she bowled.

After the first game we had a little bit of time left, so a new game was automatically started. We all got to go only once before our time was up though. After that, we all went home.
